About Noel

Noel Golden is a musician, singer and songwriter from County Mayo. Born into a well known musical family he began playing music at the age of five and would regularly entertain family and friends on his mothers “Black Dot” button accordion.

By the age of ten he was performing on stage with his brothers band, singing classics old and new. At the age of thirteen he had written several songs and began to develop his own vocal and guitar style. At nineteen Noel was playing professionally and was quickly establishing a loyal following.

In 1991 he released his first “EP” called “Custom World” The four original songs received critical acclaim and brought him national attention.

Noel has performed in such venues as Slatterys of Capel Street, Dublin and the Lobby in Cork to name but a few, and continues to work extensively throughout the country.

He is currently working on new material for his debut album which he hopes to release in the near future.
